Independent Living Officer

1 x Permanent, Part-Time position working 14 hours over 2 days a week, available with a competitive pay and benefits package including a starting salary of £27,332 a year, rising to £29,805 (pro rata) per year after key competencies of the role are met.

Tai Tarian is growing, and we are looking for a self-motivated, resilient Independent Living Officer to join us. You'll be joining our team at a pivotal moment as this is without out doubt, a challenging time for the housing sector. To be successful in the role, you will need to be a positive, enthusiastic person who wants to make a difference to peoples lives.

Reporting to Team Leader, This role is to work in partnership with tenants and outside agencies to develop and sustain independent active communities throughout our over 55's properties.

This role will work with contract holders to maintain their agreements within guidelines, processes and procedures and engaging with external stakeholders, and achieve our key Housing objective of great Service Delivery Standards by meeting the set measures of success.

To be successful in the role of Independent Living Officer our new team member will be educated to Level 2 in a relevant qualification or equivalent experience.

The successful candidate will also require a satisfactory DBS check upon appointment.
