The Role

Based on-site at HMP Millsike, you will support the delivery of online learning programmes within the Learning Hub, providing general tutoring to small groups of learners. You will help learners build their skills, knowledge, and confidence while encouraging progress towards their personal goals and future aspirations.

Our Tutors play a key role in creating supportive learning environments, ensuring individual learning plans are in place, and providing guidance and encouragement throughout the learner journey. You will deliver engaging, high-quality sessions that motivate learners and help them achieve their full potential through online and blended learning opportunities.

What we are looking for
  • Level 2 vocational qualification
  • Strong vocational experience and expertise within your field
  • Experience delivering vocational or online-based training
  • Experience supporting learners in Functional Skills English and Maths
  • A teaching or assessing qualification at Level 4 or above
  • Ability to use a variety of teaching methods to engage and support learners
If you do not currently hold a teaching or assessing qualification, support will be provided to help you achieve the relevant qualifications and assessments during your probationary period.
