Lateral Move vacancy - Housing Officer - East Voids & Lettings Team

Grade 4 - £33,366 - £40,476
Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review
Working 36.5 hours per week
This will be based in the East Void Team.
This is a great opportunity to join such a fabulous team within the Housing Management service.
The vacancy is based at Kings Road Depot and the successful candidate will be expected to work from the office to supervise the grades 2 and 3 staff. Flexible working will be considered if there is GR4 cover throughout the week.
Must have experience of managing a team in terms of one to ones giving direction dealing with sickness /ER issues as and when they arise.
Will require a driver as Housing Officer job is to support the team in terms of going out on the area/ patch. Work Mileage can be claimed. Daily duties will include carrying out viewings to void properties, monitoring performance, monitoring repairs KPI's, ensuring that properties are let end to end in a timely manner. No two days are the same and you will manage a variety of queries including lock changes, clearing debts of meters etc.
Currently the service is going through an exciting Service redesign to create a customer focused integrated service.
We are happy to consider a current grade 4 or a 5 officer at risk.
