The Vacancy
TEMPORARY CHILDREN AND FAMILIES LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Due to the secondment of the current post holder we have a temporary vacancy (initially until June 2025) within the Children and Families Workforce Development Team for the post of Learning and Development Officer. This would be an ideal development opportunity for someone who is looking to further develop their skills, knowledge and experience across the children and families workforce.
We are seeking someone who has excellent numeracy, literacy and IT skills along with proven administrative and organisational skills. Excellent communication and networking skills will be essential as will be the ability to work in partnership with a range of stakeholders including the children's workforce, academic institutions and training providers.
The main purpose of this role is to work with the Children and Families Practice Development Lead to ensure the successful development, commissioning, delivery and review of the training and continuing professional development offer across the Children and Families Workforce. This will include liaising with training providers, booking training events and implementing systems to gather feedback and review the impact of the training and development offer.
