About the Role
The Guinness Partnership is seeking a dedicated Lettings Officer to join our dynamic and customer-focused team. This is a full-time, permanent position, and we offer a hybrid working arrangement, with 3 office-based days per week.
In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our resident-facing teams to ensure properties are let promptly and safely. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the allocation of available homes
- Managing the full lettings journey from start to finish
- Coordinating with development teams and both internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition from project completion to initial tenancy
- Carrying out applicant eligibility checks and pre-tenancy procedures
We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will bring:
- Proven experience in lettings within the social housing or private rental sector
- A strong commitment to outstanding customer service and performance excellence
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities
- Clear and consistent communication skills across various channels-phone, email, text, and letter
- Active listening skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- A keen eye for service improvement with a focus on positive customer outcomes
- High attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures and protocols
