2x Lettings Officer - Allocations Service
The Allocations Service is responsible for letting Council and Housing Association properties within the borough and assesses applications from those who wish to join the Council's housing register. The team also deals with a high volume of customer enquiries on the phone and in writing.
The Lettings Officer is responsible for the allocation of council and housing association properties.The post holder must be able to manage a demanding workload and be committed to providing excellent customer care. He/she must be able to respond to written enquiries from Members, MP's, Senior Managers and the public and must have a good understanding of allocations and homelessness legislation and best practice. The post holder must have good working knowledge of using Microsoft Office.
