Premises officer - Lettings
30 Hours, 52 weeks a year, 26 days annual leave
Salary WSCC Grade 5, pt 7 £26,403 FTE Pro rata Salary £21,408
Chichester High School is a thriving and aspirational secondary school in Chichester West Sussex providing high quality education from the ages of 11 through to our Outstanding 6th form. We are looking to appoint a Premises officer who will be responsible for the lettings and evening management of the school site keeping it at the heart of the community The successful candidate will be required to ensure that the schools extensive grounds and buildings are maintained and secure throughout the evening and be the main point of contact for the external lettings whilst they are using the premises, locking up at the end of the evening. They will also:
• Contribute to the smooth running of the school by carrying out a range of caretaking duties including security and supervision of the site in the evening, along with other caretaking duties including general porterage and maintenance.
• Be conscientious, motivated and able to work flexibly.
• Be able to deal with reactive and planned maintenance
• Be able to problem solve and put forward the best solution.
• Will be adaptable and flexible to meet the many school demands.
