We have an exciting opportunity for a Neighbourhood Officer to work as part of a customer focused, collaborative team responsible for the management of the Trust's estates, including investigating breaches of tenancy, ensuring that anti-social behaviour is addressed by working in collaboration with external partners, regularly monitoring the Trust's estates to ensure areas are safe, clean and well maintained.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Neighbourhood Officer to work as part of a customer focused, collaborative team responsible for the management of the Trust's estates, including investigating breaches of tenancy, ensuring that anti-social behaviour is addressed by working in collaboration with external partners, regularly monitoring the Trust's estates to ensure areas are safe, clean and well maintained.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- To investigate all complaints in respect of neighbour nuisance and anti-social behaviour and take steps to resolve these within the Trust's policies and procedures.
- To provide a high level tenancy management service within a geographical area, including ensuring tenancy conditions are complied with.
- Undertake accompanied viewings, tenancy "sign ups" to properties (including required follow up visits) and 'end of tenancy' liaison.
- To carry out tenant consultation on issues of housing management and encourage participation generally. To attend evening meetings as required in connection with Tenant and Resident Involvement.
- To work closely with agencies including Police, Early Help Hubs, Social Services, Mental Health Services, and to make referrals where necessary. To attend multi agency meetings when required.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Educations and Qualifications:
- Full, current, valid driving licence.
- Experience of working within Housing or a similar customer focused organisation.
- An understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data protection of business information.
- Possess excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with various audiences both in writing and verbally.
- Excellent time management skills, including an ability to prioritise workload and meet targets. Able to work as part of a team and also able to work independently without the need of close supervision.
- Possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when recording information.
- Possess good IT skills to include use of Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
