About you

We’re seeking a dedicated payroll assistant to support our payroll function. You’ll be responsible for the preparation of the end-to-end payroll cycle, supported by the head of finance and director of finance and central services as required.

You’ll be responsible for providing details to support employee benefits including updating information held for life and health insurance plans. You will handle sensitive information with discretion and communicate confidential details to providers when required.

Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be the first point of contact for payroll-related queries, ensuring they are resolved efficiently and professionally.

As a team player, you will also provide support to the wider finance team during periods of holiday and sickness cover.

To succeed in this role, you must have previous experience in payroll and a solid understanding of payroll processes and regulatory requirements, including auto-enrolment.
