JOB DESCRIPTION Key Purpose:
- The Premises Officer is responsible for ensuring site maintenance, security, cleanliness and any other duties commensurate with the post.
- Maintenance: Overseeing heating and lighting systems, performing minor repairs, and decorating.
- Ordering and supervising contractors for larger maintenance tasks. Security: Managing alarm and fire safety systems, authorizing key holders, locking/unlocking buildings, and monitoring surveillance equipment.
- Cleanliness: Managing waste collection, responding to leaks and spillages, and removing litter.
- Supervision: Overseeing staff and volunteers engaged in cleaning and maintenance duties.
- General Duties: Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for employees and visitors, requiring excellent communication and organisational skills.
