PREMISES OFFICER VACANCY

Contract Details: Permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year)

Due to the retirement of our current Premises Officer, this position offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a Leicestershire LA maintained, large primary school, rated good & largely outstanding by Ofsted and situated between the border of Leicester City and the beautiful Bradgate Park.

JOB INFORMATION: PAY, WORKING HOURS & HOLIDAY ENTITLEMENT
Pay details: Grade 8 (£27,717* to £30,066* per annum)
*2024/25 rates - pay award for 2025/26 to be confirmed following national pay agreement
Full time role: 37.5 hours per week
Please note this role carries an entitlement to 25 days holiday per year (in addition to all public/bank holidays), to be taken during school holiday periods. Staff with above 5 years' service are entitled to 30 days holiday per annum.
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 7am to 11am / 2.00pm to 5:30pm during term time. Please note 'split shifts' are a requirement for this role, however we may be able to consider a degree of flexibility around the working hours and/or offer some days without a split shift (for example 7am to 3pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break). Additional flexibility around shifts may also be built into school holiday periods.
We currently have 1 late letting on a Tuesday evening (7:30pm finish), and host a handful of evening sessions each term which require a later finish than usual (parents' evenings, school plays, etc). The premises officer is not required to lock up after governor meetings.
