These are exciting times to work within Salford City Council's fast paced and varied Housing Strategy Team. The team is responsible for the production of, and monitoring and reporting on the delivery of our housing and homelessness related strategies and policies - including data collection and analysis. In addition, the team are responsible for driving and delivering a number of key actions within our strategy action plans.
In addition, the post holder will have responsibility for conducting s.202 homelessness reviews.
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team, who can demonstrate their ability to use their initiative to drive a partnership approach to achieving local outcomes. You will have excellent written and verbal skills and be able to plan and manage competing pieces of work. Knowledge and understanding of a wide range of housing and homelessness issues is required. Importantly, we are seeking someone with proven experience of delivering and an advanced understanding of homelessness law.
