Job Description

The procurement team deliver great value for money across The Guinness Partnership. Working in a joined-up, innovative way the team plays a key role in the efficient and effective delivery of our group strategic objectives.

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement and SRM Partner to join the Guinness team. This is a permanent, full-time vacancy which can be based in either our our Oldham or Central London office.

The main purpose of the role is to develop and deliver expert support in procurement and contract management to achieve value for money throughout Guinness.

We appreciate that flexibility is important, so we offer a hybrid working style with 3 office based days per week.

You'll also be able to demonstrate

Essential:
  • Experience of procurement in a service orientated and commercial environment.
  • Experience of adding value and additional commercial benefit through the development of constructive supplier relationships.
  • Experience of managing the complete tendering process.
  • Proven project / programme management experience including ability to manage large scale multiple projects concurrently.
  • Experience of implementing Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators in relation to Contract Management.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK procurement regulatory requirements and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of business management principles including decision making, negotiation, planning, budgeting and projections.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Desirable:
  • Experience of working within a procurement function across a geographically dispersed environment.
  • Proven experience of delivering effective and compliant procurement solutions across a range of asset management and asset compliance functions.
Qualifications

Essential:
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent).
  • MCIPS qualified and/or equivalent.
