We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to assist the delivery of a £40m wastewater infrastructure project within a long-term Tier 1 capital delivery framework in the water sector. This is a role with end-to-end accountability for project outcomes, including safety, programme, cost, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.
The role has responsibility for a major Wastewater Treatment Works (WwTW) upgrade while also providing leadership and support across the wider framework portfolio as required. You will operate as a client-facing leader, setting delivery standards, driving performance, and shaping outcomes across a complex, multi-disciplinary supply chain.
This position suits an individual with a strong background in major civil engineering and regulated infrastructure environments, comfortable operating at the interface of client, designer, contractor, and supply chain.

The role of a Project Manager includes:
- Leading the safe planning and delivery of civils infrastructure
- Managing project programmes, budgets, riskregistersand reporting
- Overseeing site activities to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Managing subcontractors and supply chain partners to ensure efficient delivery
- Building andmaintainingstrong client relationships
- Driving continuous improvement and promoting best practice across the project team
- CSCS, SSSTS/ SMSTS
- HNC / Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- Understand civil engineering principles and practices
- Knowledge of NEC3 or 4,OptionA forms of contract
- Programme management awareness and administration towards MSP or P6, feeding into the project planner
- Strong capability in managing change through structured governance.
- Effective at managing risks and opportunities to deliver the best results.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
- A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region
