What will you be doing in this role?
This role is based at The Spires a 26-bed, scheme which provides temporary accommodation for individuals who have experienced rough sleeping or are at risk of rough sleeping.
Working alongside the Project Workers and Scheme Manager, you will provide ad hoc support, monitor visitors to the service, respond to enquiries and organise and deliver activities designed to promote inclusion and develop skills.

This role is based at The Spires, Maudland Bank, Preston, Lancashire
The weekly hours for the role are 37 per week to be worked on a rota basis, with a requirement to work one Saturday in every three weeks.

- You don't need previous support or housing experience, but we do look for the below:

- You'll be able to work with our tenants without judgement
- You'll be compassionate and have excellent listening skills
- You'll have the ability to help our tenants value themselves and realise their goals and aspirations
- You'll be able to work well under pressure and manage conflict when it arises
- You'll be motivated, confident and willing to learn new skills
- A qualification in housing or health and social care
- Understanding or experience of drug and alcohol services, social services or those for people experiencing mental ill health
- Have worked in a people-facing role previously, or personally experienced, multiple disadvantage and/or homelessness
- Previous housing or support experience
