Property Manager
Full Time - 37 hours per week
(part-time may be considered - min 25 hrs per week)

Based in central Reading, Launchpad provides vital information and support for vulnerable individuals, couples and families in Reading who do not have a stable place to live or are at risk of losing their home. Founded as a soup kitchen in 1979 by students at the University of Reading, the charity now provides a holistic service that works in three ways - we prevent homelessness, provide homes and rebuild lives.
THE ROLE
As a member of the Housing team, you will be responsible for the effective day-to-day delivery of all properties, maximising property performance and management of all Launchpad's assets, including all offices & facilities. In a management role, you will be leading a diverse team to deliver a high-quality housing and repairs service for tenants and ensuring teams maintain our assets in line with applicable statutory legislation and regulatory standards and provide high levels of tenant satisfaction.
Responsible for delivering a consistent and customer focused service across a range of housing including Allocations, Tenancy and Neighbourhood Management, Maintenance & Repairs, Compliance Inspections and Tenant Engagement.

We are looking for a candidate who has:
- A Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) / Ofqual regulated qualification (L4 or L5)
- Substantial experience in leading property services provision in a complex charitable, housing (such as a Registered Provider) or commercial sector
- Practical experience of managing risk, contractual and regulatory performance
- Experience of managing projects, contracts, procurement and associated budgets
- A track record of improving quality and performance
- The ability to self-motivate, be innovative and pro-active
- Demonstrable experience of managing a small team (including leading, engaging and motivating colleagues)
