Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Surveyor to join our Property team, you'll be supporting a wide range of nationwide projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surveyor looking to broaden their skills across a diverse portfolio, using cutting edge technology to deliver high quality measurement data and technical outputs.

You'll be responsible for the full lifecycle of survey projects from planning and data collection to processing and delivery, ensuring work meets our high standards for quality, accuracy, and safety. Working closely with the Lead Surveyor and Project Delivery teams, you'll play a key role in maintaining our reputation for technical excellence while continuing to develop your expertise within a collaborative and forward thinking environment.

Responsibilities:

§ Work with the lead surveyor, and project delivery team to determine the most appropriate technology and methods to deliver projects effectively.

§ Carry out all surveying and technical aspects of assigned projects, ensuring work meets company standards for quality, accuracy, and health and safety.

§ Take ownership of project data, following company protocols from collection through to final delivery.

§ Support project logistics, coordination, and communication with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders on site.

§ Proactively report on project progress to ensure deadlines and budgets are met.

§ Maintain a strong focus on quality assurance, ensuring all deliverables are accurate and "client ready."

§ Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge, support continuous improvement, and promote best practice.

§ Work flexibly, including occasional night shifts and travel as required to meet project demands.

You will have:

§ At least 2 years' general surveying experience.

§ Experience in laser scanning, topographical surveying, and measured building surveying.

§ Relevant qualification in surveying or civil engineering

§ Strong technical understanding of surveying instrumentation and methods.

§ Excellent communication skills; proactive, clear, and professional in both written and spoken English.

§ Proficient in software such as AutoCAD, Cyclone, and N4CE.

§ Strong IT literacy with an interest in developing skills in new technologies and workflows.

§ Full UK manual driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle for project logistics.
