About the Role
As a Resident Liaison Officer, you will:
  • Engage with Residents: Serve as the primary contact for residents, leaseholders, and contractors, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Facilitate Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication channels to ensure residents are informed about upcoming works and project timelines.
  • Support Project Delivery: Collaborate with project teams to coordinate access to properties, minimising disruption during refurbishment activities.
  • Promote Social Value Initiatives: Assist in implementing community benefits associated with the programme, such as employment, training, and volunteering opportunities for residents.
About You.

With the confidence and skills to manage challenging situations and expectations, as Resident Liaison Officer you will be a natural communicator who can work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.

We are seeking an individual with:
  • Experience: Proven background in liaising with the public, including residents and contractors, both verbally and in writing.
  • Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prepare reports, and arrange meetings efficiently.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, to meet residents' needs.
  • Transportation: A valid driving license and access to a car (essential).
About the Capital Repairs Programme
The Royal Borough of Greenwich is investing £430 million in a five-year Capital Repairs Programme, running until 2029, to enhance the quality of selected council homes through essential upgrades and improvements.Resident Liaison Officers are a key part of ensuring there is meaningful engagement and support and making these programmes a success.
