Eleanor Cross Road is a supported living scheme providing accommodation for up to 16 single homeless people in Broxbourne and floating support within the community to an additional 4 people.

The team offer a trauma-informed, safe environment that is person-centred and supports homeless individuals to access the help they need. This could include support to find move-on accommodation, claim benefits, counselling or signposting to specialist agencies for support with things like drug and alcohol addictions.

About the role

As a Scheme Manager, you will lead a team and be responsible for overseeing support, advice and assistance to people who are/have been living on the streets ensuring individuals are able to access and maintain a safe and secure home of their own.

We are looking for someone who has:
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation in relation to homelessness, housing and the equalities act
  • Understanding of the multiple and complex needs experienced by homeless people
  • Previous experience of working in services for people experiencing homelessness
  • Previous experience of managing others
  • Previous supervisory experience
