Scheme Manager

London

£22,604 - £23,793 per year

30 hours per week - Monday to Friday

We have an opportunity for two Scheme Managers to join our Housing Operations team, based in London. The role is mainly lone working on site in the allocated schemes, but the role requires flexibility to cover other schemes at times also both solo and to support colleagues. This role is supported and line managed by a Housing Officer who then reports to the Area Manager for Independent Living London.

One position will cover Linden Gate House and John Kirk House

The second position will cover Shaftesbury House and Melbourne House

The role of Scheme Manager will include:
  • Provide administrative support for the delivery of high quality and value for money housing services
  • Assist with part of the lettings process including sign-ups, viewings, pre-void inspections and key management
  • Conduct compliance checks and scheme inspections to ensure health and safety regulations are met
  • Maintain accurate records and manage extensive computer work efficiently
  • Liaise with external organisations such as Care and Support Agencies and Adult Social Services concerning additional support requirements/safeguarding referrals
  • Liaise with internal teams to deliver an efficient customer first service
  • Identify and report potential repairs or faults at the scheme and monitor to completion
  • Effectively manage anti-social behaviour caused by dementia needs, complex needs etc, which may include gathering relevant information to support this and manage the complaint process for the service area
Skills and experiences:
  • Numeracy and literacy to the equivalent of GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths
  • Some experience of working with older people and understanding their individual needs or similar
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to build strong relationships
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Travel required to support colleagues and respond to needs of the business

The full time equivalent salary for this role is £28,255 based on 37.5 hours per week rising to £29,742 after 12 months service and subject to satisfactory performance
