Salary: Starting Salary is £44,711 (Level one) rising to £47,754 (Level four) per annum (pro-rata for part-time)

About the Role

The postholder will assist the Homelessness Strategy Manager to devise, mobilise and lead high level projects which will prevent and relieve homelessness for the citizens of Nottingham. This will involve internal and external partnership orchestration, cross-sector stakeholder coordination, service design, strategic commissioning and the management of contracts and grant agreements.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Thorough knowledge of homelessness legislation, local and national policy drivers and current issues relating to homelessness prevention and rough sleeping
  • Experience of working with a range of stakeholders and partners on housing related projects to achieve shared outcomes and meet local needs within budgetary agreements.
  • Experience of performance management , able to set goals and targets and take appropriate mitigating action when necessary
  • Excellent standard of literacy and communication skills. Able to produce clear and accurately written documentation for a range of audiences, reflective of service users, providers, policy makers, senior managers and politicians.
  • Experience of presenting business cases and project updates to a variety of Boards and understanding the level of detail required for each
