We're looking for a Senior Housing Engagement Worker to play a pivotal role in our Supported Lodgings service, helping young people move from vulnerability to independence, and ensuring the hosts who support them feel confident, valued, and equipped to make a difference.

What You'll Be Doing

Empower Young People
- Deliver tailored, person-centred support plans
- Help residents build life skills like budgeting, cooking, and managing a home
- Guide young people towards independence and positive life outcomes
- Recruit, assess and onboard new hosts
- Deliver training and ongoing support to ensure high-quality placements
- Build strong, collaborative relationships between hosts and young people
- Line manage staff and support their development
- Work with external agencies to deliver workshops, training and opportunities
- Promote the scheme across communities to grow the network of hosts
- Monitor outcomes and drive continuous improvement
- Promote safeguarding, inclusion, and best practice at all times
- Ensure services remain compliant, safe, and impactful
You'll be someone who is resilient, compassionate, and motivated to lead change.
Essential:
- Experience supporting vulnerable young people in housing or similar settings
- Strong skills in risk assessment, support planning, and communication
- Experience leading or managing others
- Knowledge of safeguarding, housing legislation, and tenancy management
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Experience working with volunteers or placement providers
- Background in community outreach or partnership working
- Knowledge of welfare benefits and housing systems
- A genuine passion for working with young people
- The ability to build trust, challenge appropriately, and inspire change
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Energy, creativity, and a collaborative mindset
