Job Role: Senior Supported Housing Worker

Salary: £27,810 per year

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Contract type: Permanent

Location: Wiltshire, covering Trowbridge and Salisbury

Additional information:
  • Valid driver's license and access to own vehicle - business insurance will be required for roles involving travel for work.
  • Participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota
The Role:

Step into a meaningful role as a Senior Supported Housing Worker with Julian House, where you'll make a real impact every day. Based across Salisbury and Trowbridge, you'll play a key role in two vital services supporting single homeless adults and individuals in early recovery from substance use.

In this hands-on leadership position, you'll support and motivate a passionate frontline team, ensure high standards of care, and collaborate with partner agencies to deliver personalised, effective support. You'll be instrumental in shaping service delivery, fostering continuous improvement, and making a positive, lasting difference in the lives of those we support.

Responsibilities include:
  • Provide supportive line management and supervision to the team members, ensuring regular reviews are in place.
  • Provide a caseload of clients with high-quality person-centred services which take a strength-based and trauma-informed approach.
  • Maintain accurate records using our client record management system, INFORM.
  • Deal with local incidents and safeguarding, ensuring action is taken, communicated, followed up and recorded.
  • Carry out appropriate health, safety and compliance actions.
Since job descriptions cannot be exhaustive, the post holder may be required to undertake other duties, which are broadly in line with the above key responsibilities

Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Experience working with people who may have complex needs and/or challenging behaviours.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the care and support requirements of people experiencing social exclusion.
  • Valid driver's license and access to own vehicle - business insurance will be required for roles involving travel for work.
