The Arch Company - the UK's largest small business landlord - is looking for a confident, commercially aware Service Charge Manager to take ownership of service charge accounting across a diverse and growing national property portfolio.

End-to-end ownership of service charge management, including:
- Preparing, reviewing and coordinating annual service charge budgets
- Leading year-end reconciliations and producing compliant service charge accounts
- Providing accurate, timely financial control of service charge income and expenditure
- Supporting budget setting and providing clear variance analysis
- Acting as the primary finance partner for Property Management
- Handling escalated service charge queries and delivering balanced, commercially sound advice
- Line managing and developing one Service Charge Accounts Assistant
- Driving process improvement, standardisation and automation across the function
- Ensuring governance, compliance and strong financial controls
- Taking a proactive role in system development
We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in service charge accounting
- Comfortable in finance environments with strong process understanding
- Structured, organised and calm under pressure
- A confident stakeholder manager, able to engage and influence diverse personalities
- A positive change-agent, with a continuous improvement mindset
- A supportive people manager who brings clarity and accountability
- Proactive, commercially aware and solutions-focused
- Property industry experience (strongly preferred)
- Leadership mindset
- Degree or accounting qualification (beneficial but not essential)
