We are currently recruiting for a Social Impact Manager to join our established and experienced team here at RSA on a hybrid basis. This role can be based anywhere in the UK but will require frequent travel to London.

Your role
The Social Impact Manager will lead the development and implementation of RSA's social impact partnerships, with a focus on climate resilience, and support the and communication of RSA and Intact Financial Corporation's (Intact) aspiration to build resilient communities.
The role holder will be self-motivated and thrive in navigating a constantly changing landscape, working across the organisation and with key external partners. Managing these strategic partnerships effectively is a critical element of your role, alongside developing mutually beneficial events, comms and activation opportunities.
This position sits within our UK&I region but is part of the Intact Global Social Impact and ESG team, working together to align activities across the Intact Group.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead RSA's UK social impact partnerships, focusing primarily on climate resilience, ensuring they deliver against stated objectives for our partners and the business.
  • Engage employees, brokers and customers in the partnership, driving a joined-up approach to climate resilience and adaptation across the business.
  • Collaborate with our communications teams to develop, deliver, and drive strategic engagement plans that support our social impact programmes and agenda, including creating content for intranet and external websites including case studies, blogs, and social media assets.
  • Collaborate with our Policy & Public Affairs team to ensure social impact is integrated into key external
About you
You are a strategic thinker with a good analytical mindset and a passion for driving meaningful change. With proven experience in building solid stakeholder relationships and influencing diverse audiences, you bring both credibility and confidence to collaborative initiatives.
You have a solid understanding of social impact, along with the associated risks and opportunities facing RSA/IFC and the broader insurance sector.
Your communication skills-both written and verbal-are exceptional, allowing you to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively. #LI-SB1

You will be detail-oriented and will thrive in fast-paced environments, expertly managing multiple projects while maintaining a sharp focus on outcomes.
