We are seeking an experienced Social Impact Manager to lead and shape our firm-wide social impact strategy. This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to drive meaningful change, embed ESG priorities, and deliver measurable outcomes across our business and communities.
Working collaboratively across the firm, the successful candidate will partner closely with Marketing, Client & Business Development, People, Operations, internal affinity groups, Brabners Foundation and external stakeholders to embed responsible business practices and maximise our social value. You will also play a key role in governance, impact measurement and reporting, using data and insights to inform decision-making.
This role can be based out of our Liverpool, Manchester, Lancs or Leeds office, with a flexible approach to working across all offices when required. We offer hybrid working to ensure work life balance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the delivery and ongoing development of the firm's social impact programme across our internal affinity groups (TAG, SEG, CEG) and Brabners Foundation
- Drive Social Impact Strategy, ensuring alignment with the firm's strategic priorities and values
- Create practical initiatives, programmes and partnerships that create measurable outcomes as part of the Social Impact Strategy
- Identify, scope and implement new social impact projects that support responsible business and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) priorities
- Act as the central coordinator for social impact activity across practice groups, business services teams and the Brabners Foundation
- Facilitate collaboration across teams to maximise the reach and effectiveness of social impact programmes
- Work closely with Marketing for all internal communications and engagement activities- increasing participation across the firm
- Collaborate with Client and Business Development, Marketing and People Team to integrate social impact into client engagement and brand positioning
- Manage a portfolio of social impact initiatives, ensuring clear planning, tracking and reporting of progress and outcomes
- Produce high-quality internal and external reports, including B Corp reporting and other Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)
- Ensure the firm can clearly demonstrate the outcomes and value of its social impact work to stakeholders including employees, clients and the wider community
- Lead the firm's social impact and ESG/Reporting strategy, driving responsible business, sustainability initiatives and innovation in how social value is created and measured
- Identify, develop and implement new initiatives that aligned with business goals, driving innovation in how we create measure our success
- Oversee and coordinate a portfolio of impact initiatives across internal networks and the Brabners Foundation, ensuring strong planning, prioritisation and execution
- Design and deliver practical programmes and partnerships that generate clear, measurable outcomes
- Act as the central coordinator for impact activity across legal teams and business services, enabling collaboration and maximising participation
- Work with Marketing and wider teams to embed impact into internal communications, client engagement and employer brand
- Develop and maintain frameworks to track, measure and report impact, producing high-quality internal and external reporting including B Corp and ESG
- Ensure strong governance, continuous improvement and clear communication of outcomes to employees, clients and the wider community
- Proven experience in a Social Impact, ESG or Corporate Responsibility role (ideally within a professional services or corporate environment)
- Able to successfully develop and deliver strategy as well as hands-on programmes
- Passionate about driving positive social and environmental change
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for the client, practice and team
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights
- Experience delivering multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills
