Job Description

Reporting into VP of Global Social Impact & Community Engagement this role will support Wasserman's social impact and community engagement commitments to maximize impact and community engagement outcomes, plan and deliver initiatives, and utilize measurement tools to monitor progress and report on projects.

The Manager also supports the VP in the delivery of a Global Social Impact and community engagement strategy and service offering that helps talent, music, brand and property clients and Wasserman agents drive their social impact.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Support the VP of Social Impact to set the 3-year direction for our social impact, community engagement strategy and client services across the global organization. This includes ensuring that our approach is innovative, industry-leading, shaped by materiality and aligned with long-term business growth.
  • Coordinate with Comms team on internal and external messaging around Social Impact including tracking, supporting quarterly requests for progress, wins and tracking metrics
  • Manage the end of year Social Impact report through tracking development and progress of various internal and external social impact campaigns delivered through the course of the year
  • Coordinate and help lead Impact team interns
  • Coordinate Social Impact pro classes, panels and trainings
  • Manage Social Impact calendar for events, conferences, panels and cultural moments
  • Support VP, Social Impact & Community Engagement on client social impact requests, nonprofit and partner research and cause related advocacy development internally and externally
  • Collect and organize data on all Social Impact client related campaigns and projects
  • Work with VP of Social Impact, on coordinating with the Wasserman Foundation
  • Support, collect data and recap employee year-round staff community engagement & volunteer program
  • Work with VP, Social Impact to identify strategic charitable giving opportunities and develop partnership plans that help unlock impact at scale across global locations.
  • Support VP, Social Impact to develop the goals, plans, and assessment frameworks to measure our impact, and manage the ongoing delivery of metrics that demonstrate both social and business value and support the enterprise Impact narrative and annual report.
  • Monitor and report on social impact trends to provide insights and community engagement opportunities
  • Work alongside the Impact Team to evolve the existing Think Tank and repository system
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with community organizations, industry peers, and stakeholders
  • Support input to bids and tenders as requested by VP
  • Manage the day-to-day responsibilities of our social impact partnerships
  • Develop and implement strategies to creatively promote a global volunteering programme to our people, encouraging them to get involved in our strategic partnership opportunities, and others.
  • Manage the diligence process for onboarding and engaging of all non-profits for internal and client facing partnerships to ensure risk factors are managed
THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED

  • 6+ years of relevant nonprofit or entertainment experience, ideally in programmatic or partnerships roles that required creativity, strategic planning, and collaboration across global markets
  • Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail and eye toward streamlining systems
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to distill complex or abstract ideas into concise and clear communiques for a diverse audience
  • Experience in supporting employee volunteerism and mission-driven partnerships and projects
  • Passion for creating positive change with and for communities
  • Experience in administration of employee giving and volunteer management platforms (e.g., Benevity, YourCause, Deed, Bonteerra, Submittable, Bright Funds).
  • Experience in effectively managing multiple complex projects in a large and complex organization
  • Multi-lingual fluency a plus (Spanish preferred)
