Job Description

The Role

As HPES Team Leader you will:
  • Oversee a team of employment specialists supporting residents experiencing or at risk of homelessness to secure and sustain meaningful employment as part of the Connect to Work programme.
  • Provide caseload management, ensuring the team are trained in all aspects of their role.
  • Ensure the HPES service is delivered in line with the support employment principles outlined in the Individual Placement & Support (IPS) and Supported Employment Quality Frameworks (SEQF)
  • Work closely with District and Borough Council housing teams, accommodation providers and community organisations to promote the programme and develop referral pathways.
Candidate criteria

We are looking for candidates who:
  • Can plan and organise varied workloads, for themselves and others
  • Can supervise, motivate and support staff
  • Have experience of delivering customer focused services and engaging new participants onto programmes
  • Can communicate effectively with diverse audiences, influencing and supporting change through excellent negotiation skills
  • Can Interpret and analyse complex data
  • Has working knowledge of employment and skills support particularly for vulnerable people
