Tenancy Management Officer

Salary: (Band E) £37,815 - £43,083 per annum

12 Months Fixed Term Contract

37 Hours per Week

The Tenancy Management Vision:-

A person centred and professional service, which enables and empowers staff & residents to manage their homes and neighbourhoods effectively, as well as providing timely and appropriate support.

Thurrock Council seeks a self-motivated person, with the ability to problem solve. Successful applicants will be required to manage an area of housing stock involving all matters of tenancy and some locality-based services.

Duties can include and are not limited to-
  • Letting of new tenancies/ending of tenancies
  • Managing tenancy changes
  • Introductory Tenancy Reviews
  • Resident engagement
  • Partnership working with other agencies and teams
  • Prioritising Tenancy sustainment
  • Tenancy enforcement
  • Tenancy/Property Audits
  • Estate management
Please note that Thurrock Council Housing are embarking on a transformation programme, using Human Learning Systems principles to develop locality models of service provision - as such we would welcome applications from candidates with experience of a housing, support and / or working in a person-centred and relationship driven service environment.
