Tenant Liaison Officer
Location: Merthyr Tydfil Borough
Salary: £31,179 to £33,142* (Appointment at the bottom of the band) *Pay Award Pending
Contract Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Hours of work: Full Time (30hrs - 4 Day Week)

Is this for you?
We're looking for someone who will be the liaison between our tenants, customers and contractors to support all Repairs, Maintenance and Capital Improvement Programs. You'll deal with any issues arising from disputes regarding Assets Maintenance and Repairs Work Programmes. You'll also support various projects and act as a Trusted Assessor, meaning you'll recommend appropriate home adaptations or equipment to improve our tenant's living conditions and empower independence.
Are you our ideal candidate?
Our ideal candidate will share our mutual values and be passionate about working in partnership with our tenants and external stakeholders. For this role, you'll need to have worked face to face with customers and in a customer service focused environment. You'll also join us with a general understanding of social housing.
You'll have experience of confidently working with external partners and working in an office environment with a high demand on Microsoft applications and data processing. There will also be times where you'll come across challenging situations and you'll need to be a forward-thinking problem solver.
We are looking for a great communicator who will listen to our tenants and develop good professional relationships with them alongside other members of the community. To succeed in this role, you'll also have good time management skills, and can work proactively and on your own initiative to meet deadlines.
