Trainee Housing Support Officer - Customer Access Team
Scale 5 - £ 31,524 - £ 32,931

Based at The Woolwich Centre
Due to staff progression, we have an exciting opportunity within our Housing Inclusion Service, for people looking to start their career in housing.
The Royal Borough of Greenwich has high levels of housing need, we aim to prevent homelessness wherever possible, by exploring the different housing options available to those at risk of homelessness.
Based at The Woolwich Centre, you will work as part of a dedicated team providing the first point of contact for our customers, either in person, over the phone or via email. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering a first-class customer service experience and need to be committed to providing a high quality of customer care at all times.
Full training will be provided for this role, however research into homelessness legislation would be beneficial.
You will need to be confident working in a fast-paced and demanding environment, be well organised, focused, and able to remain calm and professional under pressure. The ability to work well with partner agencies, and have excellent written and oral communication skills. You should also have the ability to make full use of various IT programs and systems.
