At Paradigm, we're committed to ensuring our empty properties are quickly brought up to standard, enabling us to provide homes to those who need them.

As a Voids Officer, you'll take ownership of managing void repairs from start to finish. This includes planning, scheduling, and monitoring progress to ensure properties meet our high standards before being handed back for letting. Your role is vital in minimising void rent loss, ensuring properties remain compliant, and delivering excellent customer service.

You'll work closely with internal teams and contractors, providing administrative support, managing compliance documentation, and helping to meet performance targets for void repairs.

What You'll Do:
  • Oversee and manage the voids repairs process to ensure timely completion and compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate repairs, allocate tasks, and monitor progress for both in-house teams and subcontractors.
  • Maintain accurate records and dashboards, reporting on void performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all properties handed back are fully compliant, with updated Gas Safety Certificates, EICRs, asbestos reports, and EPCs.
  • Respond to queries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams to achieve key performance indicators.
  • Drive efficiencies to reduce void days, costs, and repair-related complaints.
What We're Looking For:

We're seeking someone with a positive, proactive attitude, strong organisational skills, and the ability to deliver results. You'll be comfortable managing competing priorities and working collaboratively to meet targets.

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
  • Experience in property repairs, void management, or lettings services.
  • Strong IT and reporting skills, with the ability to manage data and maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to build productive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements for properties, including safety certificates and other key documentation.
  • A customer-focused approach, with a commitment to providing excellent service.
  • A practical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to make decisions that balance business needs and customer satisfaction.
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.
