About the role: The Processing Officer will report to the Processing Team Leader and will be part of a highly effective team and will take an active part in the progression of the Bank as it enters the next stage of growth. Duties: The role requires a good level of customer service skills with an ability to: <ul><li>Take inbound and make outbound telephone calls and deal with enquiries appropriately.</li><li>Check new account opening documentation received from Front Office teams.</li><li>Process new and maturing Sensible Savings applications by post and online, performing the required Know your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) checks and issuing the appropriate correspondence to customers.</li><li>Ensure that all of the Bank's Anti-Money Laundering, KYC and CDD requirements are met and all relevant searches are carried out. </li><li>Create new Customer Identification Files (CIFs) and new customer accounts. </li><li>Perform all aspects of ongoing account maintenance including the setup of customer Internet Banking and other account facilities where appropriate.</li><li>Open, sort and distribute mail received throughout the day.</li><li>Send customer documentations including statements and process the monthly account maintenance charges to customer accounts.</li><li>Process Visa debit card applications, ordering and dispatching Visa cards, conducting card loads and unloads and supporting customers on their queries.</li><li>Issue audit responses where requesting by internal or external parties.</li><li>Provide support to the rest of the team, helping to ensure that all areas of work within the team are dealt with accurately and in a timely manner</li></ul>Person/Experience required: <ul><li>Someone educated to a degree level or have the relevant Customer Service experience.</li><li>Someone with a keen eye for detail and accurate and timely data inputting and administration;</li><li>The ability to work under your own initiative and to strict deadlines;</li><li>Excellent customer service skills;</li><li>Ability to multitask; </li><li>Ability to work effectively as part of a team and;</li><li>Ability to work and communicate effectively with other areas of the bank including Compliance, Risk, Settlements and Relationship Management Team.</li></ul>Why work with The Access Bank UK Ltd? About this job An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Business Support Officers to support the Business and Quality Performance Team in delivering our new private rented property licensing schemes. This entails: Providing financial, administrative and support services to meet the requirements of Enforcement Services. This includes processing and monitoring payments, income and expenditure relating to Enforcement Services. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure that a flexible, modern, and effective service is provided that meets the needs of managers and promotes a positive image of the council. Validating and processing applications in respect of licences in accordance with legislation. Developing systems that will monitor that statutory timescales are met with regards to complex legislation, reporting any deficits to and providing monitoring information for the Head of Quality &amp; Business Performance. Providing accurate statistical information for service management and scrutiny. Contributing to the maintenance of accurate and up to date service user records. Supporting the undertaking of daily reconciliations to ensure all monetary values are accounted for and report any discrepancies. Ensuring all documentation and reports are fully auditable and in line with new legislation. About you The successful candidate will have experience of administrative work dealing with a high volume of data and will have a clear desire to undertake on the job learning. They will have the ability to work as part of a team and will be confident in assisting managers, staff and members of the public to resolve their queries. Business Support Officer

Parking Services are looking to recruit a full time Processing Officer to complement its existing Processing Team. The successful candidate will form part of a highly motivated and committed team dealing with the appeals to Penalty Charge Notices (parking fines) and the processing of Parking Permits. Responsibilities / tasks <ul> <li>Provide parking advice to citizens.</li> <li>Dealing with appeals to Penalty Charge Notices within general guidelines and making the decision to enforce or cancel a notice, and where appropriate apply discretion.</li> <li>Preparing cases for progression through the legal process.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Demonstrate high quality customer care when dealing with difficult and contentious situations.</li> <li>Approve access and waivers for contractors and suppliers in line with parking policy.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>To process payments for both Penalty Charge Notices and Parking Permit applications.</li> </ul>Skills <ul> <li>Excellent customer care and team working.</li> <li>The ability to communicate through all mediums in a concise and accurate way.</li> <li>Good IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.</li> <li>The ability to deal with contentious situations in an assertive and diplomatic way.</li> <li>Create positive working relationships with others.</li> <li>Experience of working in the parking industry would be an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided.</li> </ul>If you are someone with a good team work approach, can be flexible as the service looks to improve and have good customer care / people skills then we would like to hear from you.
