As our Housing Manager, you'll play a starring role in making this a reality for thousands of people living in our communities. The housing team is the heartbeat of our organisation. As our Housing Manager you'll inspire your team to provide exceptional, customer-focussed, localised neighbourhood management services. You'll work closely with the Head of Neighbourhoods to embed a human-centric culture where the thoughts, opinions and voices of our tenants are heard and acted on. You'll support the development and delivery of plans that provide an early intervention and prevention approach to neighbourhood management and support our tenants - helping them to avoid crisis and maintain their tenancies. What you'll bring to the team You'll coordinate, manage and supervise the delivery of customer-focussed services across neighbourhood and estate management and supported living service HomePlus. You'll help the team develop and manage effective neighbourhood action plans that provide positive outcomes for our tenants and the communities that we serve - creating a case conferencing approach across teams and with external partners. Working with local and national partners, you will ensure that our tenants get the help and support they need, encouraging your team to act as an advocate for tenants to get them the support they need. What we are looking for <ul> <li>An inspiring manager who can support and motivate their team and deliver ambitious plans and objectives.</li></ul><ul> <li>Experience in a tenancy or housing environment with expert knowledge of neighbourhood services, housing legislation and regulations.</li></ul><ul> <li>A customer champion who will put our tenants first and makes sure this is embedded across their team so that tenants feel this.</li></ul><ul> <li>The ability to listen and learn but most importantly to act on what you're hearing.</li></ul>About the team The housing team is the heartbeat of Two Rivers Housing. Using this feedback, we've started to reshape the team to enable us to provide truly localised neighbourhood housing services. Our housing team are pretty amazing, and now we have some new exciting opportunities for people to come and join them! We have redesigned the service to allow us to have more time to be present in our neighbourhoods and really get to know our tenants. This will help us be more focussed on problem solving and nipping issues in the bud. It will also help us work more closely with other teams and partner organisations, for the benefit of our tenants and neighbourhoods. You'll work hard to makes sure our customers are supported and able to sustain their tenancies, build communities and makes sure our neighbourhoods are places where our tenants can thrive. Spending your days out and about in our communities, you'll be highly visible and the first point of contact for the tenants in your patch. You'll welcome tenants to their new home, completing the sign-up process and making sure they have everything they need to feel at home. It will be your job to really get to know our tenants, understand their needs and make sure their voices are heard across the organisation. What you'll bring to the team You'll be a true advocate for our tenants - building positive relationships and taking ownership of the issues and queries they raise with you. You'll work with the team and external partners to make sure these are resolved, and keeping tenants updated. You'll get to know the tenants in your patch and develop a deep understanding of their needs and the needs of the wider community, working together to prioritise and address these. As a true customer champion, you'll take a human-centric approach, implementing reasonable adjustments where required to make sure you are providing equitable services for our tenants. Neighbourhood Manager

Job Title: Supported Housing Officer Head Office Location: Brindley Place, Birmingham Job Location: Gloucestershire Salary: £27,000.00 per annum (+£750 Car Allowance) Contract type: Permanent Working hours: 37 hours About the role You will be there to provide support to Places of Safety project. This role will require you to have excellent communication and customer service skills. You will need to provide an excellent service to service users and their families. Supporting them to understand their housing options, support networks and additional support needs. This role is customer facing with responsibility for supporting customers to maintain their licence agreement with GreenSquareAccord. You will need to support the temporary accommodation that GreenSquareAccord are leasing from registered providers, and properties allocated from our own stock. You will work with Gloucestershire`s housing districts, customer accounts, maintenance and other GreenSquareAccord staff as well as external agencies to ensure victims of domestic abuse access and maintain a place of safety in the county. Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require a DBS check to be completed. Further details will be sent following offer. About you You must have excellent knowledge of housing and domestic abuse legislation. You must have a good awareness of the diverse needs of customers . You must have experience of managing complex, sensitive customer queries, remaining calm when dealing with emotional, difficult or distressed people. You need to have an understanding of the importance of confidentiality and the need to follow policy and procedures. You need to be able to work methodically paying attention to details and with a high level of accuracy.
