JOB DESCRIPTION Title: Housing Support Officer Salary: £12.28 per hour Working Hours: 18.75 hours per week. Due to the nature of the post evenings and Bank Holidays work may be necessary. Responsible to: Housing Services Manager Location: YMCA Black Country Housing projects as agreed Background: YMCA Black Country Group (YMCA BCG) is the branch of the YMCA global movement in the Black Country. YMCA BCG operates charitable companies &amp; associated trading subsidiaries in the Black Country boroughs and South Staffordshire area. This role is a crucial one in the business and needs someone who has prior experience of bid co-ordination and project management.&nbsp;The successful candidate will work with the senior team to identify and then submit bids of the highest quality. In addition to this, we are looking for someone who will develop and maintain a library of key information that we use to help us with bids such as case studies, CVs, standard question responses etc. We need someone who has excellent written skills plus an eye for detail and is process driven. Job Title - Support Worker Location - Chapter House - West Bromwich Hourly Pay - £12.14PH Contract type - Permanent 35 hours per week Working hours- 7am - 3pm or 1pm - 9pm Working 5 days out of 7 which include Bank holidays and weekends. About us - Chapter House is a 24 hourSupported housing project. Our supported housing project is based in West Bromwich and is temporary accommodation, for single homeless people who have support needs. Each person`s stay is for up to one year. GSA has policies in place that ensure each person living within their property receives the same opportunities, support and chance to better themselves and their general lifestyle. About the Service Members of staff work with the client as their `keyworker`. Clients work with their keyworker to evidence that they are meeting their support needs and that can maintain their tenancies so that they can move on to independent accommodation. The keyworker assists each Client in identifying their support needs and empowering them to acquire the skills to achieve their objectives as set out within the support plan which is reviewed monthly with their key worker.
