Housing Officer Welwyn Garden City - covering West Essex and Hertfordshire £34,531 - £36,348 per year Plus Car Allowance 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, 09.00 to 17.00 We have an opportunity for a Housing Officer to join our Housing team, based in Welwyn Garden City. As a Housing Officer you will be responsible for the management of a patch of social housing properties and tenancies in the Hertfordshire and West Essex areas. This will involve making sure that our properties are safe and attractive places to live and ensuring that tenancies are being conducted in a satisfactory way. The role includes void management, compliance responsibilities, anti-social behavior management and the full range of housing management. If you have experience in property or tenancy management and providing high quality customer service, then this could be the role for you. This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Homeless Prevention Team within an innovative Housing Options Service. We are seeking a passionate individual to lead the team responsible for delivering such services with emphasis on prevention of homelessness. The successful candidate will ensure that the services are delivered in line with the Councils Homelessness &amp; Rough Sleeping Strategy, and associated policies. You will ensure that the council appropriately discharges its legal obligations to people threatened with or experiencing homelessness and those in housing need. You will also be required to establish and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders and consider opportunities to ensure effective operational management of the service and work in collaboration with other services, and senior management to ensure that services are joined up appropriately and are aligned to the achievement of the Council's aims and objectives. Homeless Prevention Lead Officer

Equans is recruiting for a Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join our team in Stevenage, supporting the delivery of refurbishment and retrofit works on social housing schemes across the region.
