Housing Assistant - 6 FTC We're looking for a proactive and organised Housing Assistant to join our team. 1x Fixed-term position for up to 6 months, available with a competitive pay and benefits package including a starting salary of £27,332 per annum, rising to £29,805 per annum after key competencies of the role are met. Reporting to the Housing Team Leader, this position plays a key role in supporting lettings activities, particularly during the end-of-tenancy process. The role involves direct communication with tenants and their representatives to ensure smooth transitions. It also provides vital assistance to Lettings Officers in fulfilling their responsibilities. A willingness and ability to travel within the community to visit properties is essential.. To be successful in the role of Housing Assistant our new team member will be educated to Level 2/HNC in a relevant subject or equivalent experience. You'll also handle minor housing enquiries and provide general office administration support. Skills and Experience Needed You will bring experience delivering effective administrative and service support in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, working confidently with internal and external stakeholders. Strong IT skills, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook, are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively, use your initiative and contribute to problem-solving.
