Independent Living Scheme Officer (Part Time)

Job Introduction We're offering an interesting and rewarding role for a Resident Engagement Officer in our Neighbourhoods Team. You'll be responsible for working with our tenants, empowering them to have a voice in how we develop and manage our housing service and properties. We want to exceed people's expectations about what it means to engage with us as their landlord. You'll communicate with tenants, set up new tenant groups, and develop and implement new initiatives to engage local people. You'll provide advice and guidance to Resident Associations and support the development of new associations across the city. Some of this work will be done in the evening or at weekends, as we like to hold events for tenants at times that suit them best. Ideally, you'll have some experience working with residents or similar groups and you'll understand the requirements and challenges of the Government's Social Housing White Paper. Recovery Coordinator

Job Introduction We're seeking an experienced Independent Reviewing Officer to complement the existing team of four Independent Child Protection Chairs and seven Independent Reviewing Officers. You'll be an experienced social worker with extensive knowledge of safeguarding and childcare issues, legislation, policy, and research. You'll hold a caseload of looked after children, chair their reviews, and oversee cases in accordance with the Independent Reviewing Officer handbook.
