Recovery Coordinator within Criminal Justice Services in Newham, earning £22.00 per hour. What you will do

Assessment and Planning: Complete comprehensive assessments, risk assessments, and personalised recovery plans for individuals entering the service.
Case Management: Manage a caseload of service users, ensuring timely access to treatment, interventions, and ongoing support.
Psychosocial Interventions: Deliver one-to-one support sessions and facilitate group-based interventions where required.
Criminal Justice Support: Assist individuals transitioning from custody into community-based treatment services.
Multi-Agency Working: Work closely with Probation Services, Courts, Prisons, Police, healthcare providers, and community organisations.
Advocacy: Support service users in accessing housing, healthcare, employment, education, and welfare services.
Harm Reduction: Promote harm reduction approaches to minimise substance-related risks and reduce reoffending.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant case records in accordance with organisational policies.
Outcome Monitoring: Monitor recovery progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust support plans as appropriate.
Service Development: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and support the ongoing development of services.

Qualifications / Requirements

Experience: Previous experience working within substance misuse, criminal justice, recovery services, or related support environments.
Case Management Skills: Experience managing caseloads and delivering person-centred interventions.
Knowledge: Understanding of substance misuse, recovery models, harm reduction approaches, and criminal justice pathways.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, motivational, and engagement skills.
Partnership Working: Ability to work effectively with multiple agencies and stakeholders.
Organisational Skills: Strong ability to manage competing demands and maintain accurate records.
Commitment: Passion for supporting individuals to achieve sustainable recovery and positive life changes.
