About Waythrough

Waythrough was formed in 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship. Together, we've created one of the largest mental health and social support charities in England.

Every year, we support around 125,000 people through nearly 200 services - and it's all made possible by our 3,500 brilliant staff and volunteers.

Make a real difference in your community

Are you passionate about helping others live safer, healthier, more independent lives? Join our team at Waythrough and support people facing challenges around mental health, substance use, housing or domestic abuse. This is more than just a job - it's a chance to build meaningful relationships and create lasting change.

As the Housing Manager, you will lead a team delivering high-quality housing management and tenancy sustainment services across your region. You'll provide day-to-day support, guidance, and oversight to ensure properties are safe, compliant, and well-managed, while helping residents maintain their tenancies.

You'll play a key role in driving performance, meeting KPIs and Tenant Satisfaction Measures, and working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to continuously improve services.

Key Duties
  • Lead and support a team delivering housing and tenancy services
  • Manage property performance, including voids, arrears, and compliance
  • Provide guidance on safeguarding, risk, and anti-social behaviour
  • Monitor performance against KPIs and ensure accurate reporting
  • Support audits, inspections, and service improvements
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external partners
  • Promote resident engagement and involvement
About You

You'll be an experienced housing professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering quality services.

You will have:
  • Experience in housing management, ideally with vulnerable or complex needs
  • Strong knowledge of tenancy management, arrears, and housing processes
  • The ability to manage priorities and make sound decisions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach
A relevant housing or management qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable.
