Project Officer - (Housing Regulation &amp; Assurance) x1 Following the introduction of the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) Consumer Standards in April 2024 we are on an improvement journey. As part of this journey, we continue to improve the services we deliver to tenants and leaseholders and prepare for a future inspection against the Consumer Standards. This role will work on accelerating our readiness for inspection, strengthening governance, assurance, and co-regulation across the Housing Service. Key Priorities: <ul> <li>Define and communicate a clear vision for our social landlord role.</li> <li>Improve performance, governance, and assurance frameworks.</li> <li>Enhance scrutiny and tenant involvement to meet RSH co-regulatory principles.</li> <li>Build evidence libraries, narratives, and stakeholder as part of our governance and assurance approach.</li> </ul>Your work will support the delivery of better outcomes for tenants and leaseholders by embedding best practice across the service. Project Officer - (Housing Improvement) x1 To support the Housing Transformation Programme, this role will accelerate the review of our housing estate services. The aim is to develop recommendations that deliver greater efficiency, customer satisfaction and feed into the Housing Revenue Account (HRA) Business Planning process for 2027/28. About the role You'll lead the delivery of capital investment and refurbishment programmes across our housing stock, playing a critical role in our long-term asset strategy to ensure homes remain safe, modern and fit for the future. You'll be accountable for programmes being delivered safely, on time, within budget and in full regulatory and contractual compliance-while driving a customer-focused service that exceeds satisfaction targets. What you'll be doing as a Senior Project Manager - Asset Investment / Planned Works (Social Housing): <ul> <li>Lead SHEQ culture: Embed robust health, safety, environmental and quality standards across all planned works; ensure compliance with CDM 2015, British Standards, HSAW 1974, MHSWR and Section 20 consultations. Coordinate spot checks/site visits and maintain audit-ready evidence. This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Officer (Support Worker) at our homeless lodge in St Helens. As Project officer you will be supporting vulnerable adults and families to improve their outlook and empower them to move on successfully to an independent tenancy. You will meet a wide variety of people and will make a real difference to customer's lives. Pennington Lodge offers temporary accommodation to adults and families who find themselves homeless for a range of reasons. We offer 24hr staff support in a secure and safe environment. Project Officers have a caseload and provide key work 121 support. A large part of the role is lone-working and would require you to work under your own initiative. What will my working week look like? This is a full-time role based on a 10 day working rota. Project Officers work 12.5 hour shifts in blocks of 4. Working with 2 days (07.45 to 20.15), then 2 waking nights (19.45 to 08.15) and then 6 days off - for example: Monday &amp; Tuesday 07.45 to 20.15; Wednesday &amp; Thursday 19.45 to 08.15; then off rota for 6 days back on shift following Thursday 07.45 to 20.15 What will I be responsible for doing? As a Project Officer you will play a key role in supporting residents to help them achieve their goals and move on successfully to independent tenancies. You will do this by building strong working relationships and creating family centred, holistic support packages.
