Support Worker Salary: (full time) Starting salary £25,715, rising to £27,025 after 12 months and rising to £27,955 after a further 12 months. Pro rata This role requires a full driving licence and access to a roadworthy vehicle Rotherham and south Yorkshire Main Purpose To provide high quality housing and support services to residents in order to assist them to sustain their tenancies. Specific tasks <ul><li>Assist residents when moving in, or out of Target accommodation. </li></ul><ul><li>Assess the circumstances, aspirations and needs of each resident in order to make a support plan that is relevant to the resident and realistic in its achievement.</li></ul><ul><li>Act as residents' keyworker offering advice and support to negotiated and agreed support planning to enable them to develop their skills for independent living.</li></ul><ul><li>Assist residents to maximise their income and to manage their personal budgets.</li></ul><ul><li>Support residents to understand their rights and responsibilities under their occupancy agreements.</li></ul><ul><li>Support and motivation to residents encouraging them to achieve personal goals.</li></ul><ul><li>Carry out regular resident risk assessment and ensure it is properly recorded and copied to relevant officers in the organisation.</li></ul><ul><li>Review support plans periodically and adapt them according to changing needs</li></ul><ul><li>Make sure residents pay the rent due to Target Housing as required by the occupancy agreement. We are looking to recruit experienced Housing Support Workers to join our bank pool working across our Rotherham services. You will have experience of working with individuals with a complexity of needs, supporting individuals to live more independently and increasing their opportunities of move on to more appropriate, longer-term accommodation. The operates Mon- Fri 9-9pm and Sat 9-3pm.
