Salary The Specialist Housing Partner (Independent Living Housing Officer) salary is £29,580 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary. About you <ul> <li>Experience delivering housing management services within a specialist or generic housing context.</li> <li>CIH Level 3 Certificate in Housing or equivalent (or willingness to work towards) or qualified through experience</li> <li>Strong understanding of anti-social behaviour management and rental income collection processes.</li> <li>Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet performance targets independently and as part of a team.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers, colleagues, and external stakeholders.</li> <li>Knowledge of safeguarding practices within a housing context.</li> <li>Regular business travel will be necessary to other Accent sites and off-site meetings as required.</li> </ul>Successful candidates will undergo a DBS check. The role of ILO will be to support people to live as independently as possible through engagement, assessment and provision of equipment and aids to support independent living. You will assess, provide and install aids, equipment, adaptations, personal care, medicines management, rehabilitation exercises and support for carers to meet identified needs to support people to live safely at home and maximise independence. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing the best possible support to our service users Working flexibly between the hours of 8.00am to 8:00pm Monday to Friday. Salary - £22500 pay award pending The candidate needs to be highly motivated and have the passion, enthusiasm and commitment towards making a difference to the lives of vulnerable communities. The STOP service is there to take referrals from voluntary and statutory agencies including services within the prison and criminal justice system, housing and homelessness sector, health, social care and support sector. To provide and promote practical help and support to service users in order to assist in the development of their life skills and enable them to secure and maintain independent accommodation i.e. become tenancy ready, secure tenants with landlords in line with the housing first model and/or look at alternative move-on accommodation routes.
