We are looking for an enthusiastic, approachable, and warm Support Worker to join our committed team at our mental health service in South Manchester. Our service supports young adults to develop their skills and knowledge so that they can go on to live more independently in the community.

This opportunity is perfect for someone who is interested in an exciting career in mental health, where you are assisted in developing your skills as a support worker through close supervision, corporate training, and working as part of an experienced staff team.
Experience of providing care and support to individuals with mental health needs is desirable but not essential. We value a desire and commitment to work alongside young people, promoting positive change in their lives and helping them to achieve their aspirations. You will be nonjudgemental and able to relate to issues faced by young people, with strong listening skills, initiative, and a relaxed approach. You must also be comfortable with both lone working and alongside others.
