We have an exciting opportunity for a Recovery Coordinator who has the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs.
You will work within an opiate-focused team, with opportunities to support across other areas depending on service need. The service provides person-centred support to individuals experiencing drug and alcohol issues, helping them achieve positive and sustainable outcomes.
Where: Brighton - Richmond House
Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract - until 31st of March 2027
Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will work closely with individuals to support their recovery and wellbeing, while being part of a supportive, accountable, and collaborative team that is focused on making a meaningful difference.
Interview Process
This role involves a two-stage interview process:
Stage 1:Competency Interview (in person)
Date: 9th of July 2026
Location: Richmond House, Richmond Road, Brighton, BN10 8BD
Stage 2: Values-Based Interview (online via Microsoft Teams)
Date: TBC

Key Responsibilities
- In this role, you will manage a structured caseload of clients, maintaining consistent engagement while delivering high-quality, outcome-focused support. You will provide tailored interventions based on individual needs, balancing empathy with a clear focus on progress and accountability.
- A core part of the role involves maintaining accurate, timely, and detailed case records, using digital systems effectively to support safe and consistent care. A strong understanding of safeguarding is essential, including the ability to confidently identify, assess, and respond to risk.
- You will work collaboratively with external agencies and partner organisations, contributing to a coordinated and professional approach. The role requires the confidence to have open, constructive conversations, including appropriately challenging behaviours when needed to support positive change.
- The service operates flexibly to meet client needs, including a late opening during the week and Saturday morning provision. Recovery Coordinators take part in a rota to support this.
- The role is primarily based at Richmond House, however flexibility is required as some service users may be unable to attend the service due to health or mobility issues. In these cases, you will be expected to undertake home or hospital visits to ensure continuity of care and engagement.
- You are a clear communicator with strong active listening skills, able to build respectful and professional relationships with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds.
- You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, able to prioritise effectively and respond to changing demands without losing focus on your own responsibilities.
- You bring a balanced and boundaried approach to support work-able to show compassion while maintaining professional boundaries and personal accountability. You are confident managing a caseload and taking ownership of your work, including completing administrative tasks to a high standard.
- You are attentive to detail and recognise the importance of accurate record-keeping as part of delivering safe and effective services. Strong IT skills are essential, as is a willingness to engage with systems and processes that support quality and compliance.
- You are also comfortable contributing to a team environment where colleagues support and challenge each other constructively, with a shared focus on delivering the best outcomes for clients.
