To support residents to move on from our supported accommodation when we feel they have the skills to live independently. Undertake regular visits to the housing properties including communal areas to inspect the accommodation and get resident feedback to ensure that repairs and cleaning of the buildings are carried out promptly to a high standard and that safety and security is maintained. 24. Support residents to raise repairs and maintenance issues or do so on their behalf. 25. Carry out an end of licence visit with the resident to ensure the property is left in a good condition. 26. Housing & Support Officer

The Role You will be based in Hull and will deliver high quality support to individuals who have a learning disability and /or autism. The support will be provided in our accommodation, as well as in the community and other appropriate settings. You will have an allocated caseload and be responsible for completing risk assessments, support plans and other paperwork. You will play an instrumental part in empowering individuals to live more independently, co-ordinating support with other key agencies, attending multi-disciplinary meetings. The support will include but not be limited to, assisting with daily living skills including shopping, attending appointments, accessing community resources, health care and accessing and dealing with benefits to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment. The service is 7 days a week and will include some weekend work. Responsibilities include: <ul><li>Deliver 1:1 support to clients in line with the goals set out in their support plan</li><li>Liaise with the others involved in an individual's care regarding progress towards set goals</li><li>Keep up to date, accurate and professional recordings of support delivery</li><li>Liaise with external agencies and professionals involved in clients support</li><li>Work flexibly as part of the staff rota to ensure safe staffing levels are met (five days out of seven)</li><li>Encourage and support service users to take part in activities</li><li>Encourage service users to contribute fully to their care and support plan</li><li>Support service users with personal administration, form filling and making benefit claims as necessary</li></ul>This is not an exhaustive list of duties. Housing Support Worker

We are looking to recruit experienced Housing Support Workers to join our bank pool working across our Rotherham services.
