The Vacancy Main duties: 1. To process referrals received internally and externally in line with Llamau policies and procedures. 2. To offer a range of services, including one-to-one work with young people and family mediation. 3. To offer a range of services including family mediation and advice for young people and their parent/guardian 4. To contact family members as appropriate and facilitate initial information sessions with them. 5. To provide a telephone advice and support service for young people and family members. 6. To participate in a rota for outreach /. surgeries 7. To identify particular issues and concerns arising out of work with individual young people and pass on all relevant information to colleagues, Mediation Manager, Local Authority colleagues, and the Contracts and Quality Assurance Manager. 8. Participate in close and regular liaison with the Local Authority's Homelessness Section and Children's Services, particularly with regard to individual young people. 9. To work closely with other Mediation Workers and Advice / Homelessness Prevention Workers within the organisation to ensure consistency of service and provide cover as necessary. The treasurer takes on specific duties agreed by the other trustees in a role description. There is an expectation that the Treasurer will hold a recognised financial professional qualification and be experienced ideally in both an operational and strategic capacity. The overall role of a treasurer is to utilise their professional knowledge and expertise to support EYHC's Board trustees to carry out their financial responsibilities ensuring EYHC's financial health and viability. End Youth Homelessness Cymru - Treasurer

These are exciting times to work within Salford City Council's fast paced and varied Housing Strategy Team. The team is responsible for the production of, and monitoring and reporting on the delivery of our housing and homelessness related strategies and policies - including data collection and analysis. In addition, the team are responsible for driving and delivering a number of key actions within our strategy action plans. In addition, the post holder will have responsibility for conducting s.202 homelessness reviews. We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team, who can demonstrate their ability to use their initiative to drive a partnership approach to achieving local outcomes. You will have excellent written and verbal skills and be able to plan and manage competing pieces of work. Knowledge and understanding of a wide range of housing and homelessness issues is required. Importantly, we are seeking someone with proven experience of delivering and an advanced understanding of homelessness law.
