The Role
Forbes Solicitors LLP is looking for an experienced Social Housing Litigation Solicitor with excellent residential leasehold expertise to join our Housing Litigation team at Gordon House. This is a full-time role (36.25 hours, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm).
You'll manage a varied, high-value caseload for registered providers of social housing, delivering expert advice and representation in complex leasehold disputes.

Key Responsibilities
- Run a complex housing litigation caseload with a focus on residential leasehold matters.
- Represent clients at hearings including service charge disputes, forfeiture, lease breaches, and lease extensions or variations.
- Provide strategic legal advice and practical solutions to social housing clients.
We're interested in candidates with strong experience, sound judgement, and proven leasehold litigation expertise.

Essential:
- Qualified Solicitor or CILEX professional with litigation and advocacy rights.
- Demonstrable experience in complex housing / property litigation, with leasehold expertise.
- Proven ability to manage complex cases, meet deadlines, and deliver excellent client service.
- Confident advocacy skills and experience attending court or tribunal hearings.
- Experience supervising Paralegals/Supervisors.
- Experience acting for social housing clients.
- Good knowledge of the social housing legal and regulatory framework.
- Business development experience and confidence building client relationships.
